Weldon Introduces New LED Lighting Kits for Retrofitting!

Columbus, Ohio – November 7, 2006 – Weldon Technologies, Inc. introduced their new LED Lighting Kits at the 32nd Annual National Association of Pupil Transportation (NAPT) Conference and Trade Show in Kansas City today.

These new Lighting Kits are designed specifically for the bus market and make it easy to upgrade an existing school bus with contemporary LED technology. The LED products in these kits replace most incandescent and halogen lamps – and the kits provide all the needed parts to make the retrofit simple and hassle-free.

With these Weldon LED Lighting Kits, key features include:

DOT (FMVSS 108) compliant.
Long service life. LEDs are rated for 100,000 hours of service.
Unsurpassed light output and superior visibility in poor weather conditions.
Sealed lamps so there are no moisture or dirt issues. They are virtually maintenance free.
Instant-on lighting.
Low amp draw.
Kits are available in various 7-inch round Stop/Tail/Turn and Warning lamp configurations – as well as 1.5-inch Marker lamps. There is also 4-inch round Stop/Tail/Back-Up light kit available.
